About the role

We are seeking a Casual Early Childhood Educator to join the QUICKCARE team in Logan Central, Queensland. This is a casual position offering flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young children and their families. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow and develop during their time in our care.

Key responsibilities

- Supervise, guide and support children's learning and development in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational experiences that encourage cognitive, physical, social and emotional development
- Maintain a safe, clean and hygienic environment, adhering to all health and safety procedures and legislative requirements
- Build positive relationships with children and respond sensitively to their individual needs, interests and developmental stages
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians, providing updates on their child's progress, achievements and wellbeing
- Observe and document children's development and learning to inform ongoing program planning
- Support children with routines including meals, rest time and personal hygiene
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive care environment
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all relevant early childhood education and care regulations

What we're looking for

- A valid Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, or equivalent recognised qualification
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain one) for Queensland
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development




- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Demonstrated understanding of child safety, wellbeing and safeguarding obligations
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced early childhood care environment
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Previous experience working in early childhood education and care settings is highly desirable
