About the role

Kura Yerlo Children's Centre is looking for a Casual Educator to join a community-focused Aboriginal organisation. You will be working in a place where culture, connection, belonging and respect are part of everyday practice, making a real difference in the lives of children, families and community.

Key responsibilities

- Build warm, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Support play-based learning and children's agency
- Ensure children's safety, wellbeing and inclusion
- Respectfully support Aboriginal culture and perspectives
- Contribute positively to a team workplace
- Engage in quality early childhood practice that goes beyond supervising children

About you

- Hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care,



or be working towards one
- Have a genuine passion for working with children aged 0–5 years
- Understand the importance of play-based learning and children's agency
- Be committed to children's safety, wellbeing and inclusion
- Be willing to learn about and respectfully support Aboriginal culture and perspectives
- Be reliable, responsible and willing to get involved
