About the Role

Sensible Care is looking for a caring, reliable, and experienced Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support a client in Mount Barker, South Australia. This is a great chance for a PCA who enjoys providing personalised, respectful, and practical support to clients in their own homes.

The available shifts are approximately:

- Tuesday: 2 hours
- Wednesday: 3 hours
- Friday: 2 hours

Start times are flexible and can be scheduled anytime after 10:00 am.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Provide personal care assistance according to the client’s needs
- Support with daily living activities and personal routines
- Provide companionship and respectful social support
- Assist with light household tasks as required
- Support the client to maintain their independence and wellbeing
- Follow the client’s care plan and support requirements
- Observe and report any changes in the client’s needs or wellbeing




- Complete required care documentation
- Communicate respectfully with the client, family, and Sensible Care team
- Follow health, safety, and infection-control requirements

About You

We are looking for someone who:

- Has previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or in aged care, disability, or community care
- Holds a relevant Individual Support, Aged Care, or equivalent qualification
- Has experience providing personal care
- Has good English communication skills
- Is caring, patient, reliable, and respectful
- Is comfortable providing support in a client’s home
- Is available to work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
- Can accommodate flexible start times after 10:00 am
- Holds a current Australian driver’s licence
- Has comprehensive car insurance and access to a reliable vehicle
