Casual Remedial Massage Therapist

PrimeBody Physiotherapy is expanding, and we’re looking for a warm, skilled, and reliable remedial massage therapist to join our friendly, community‑focused MSK clinic in Brighton.

With over 15 years of experience, we help individuals move freely, recover faster, and feel stronger. We are committed to evidence-based practice and specialise in sports injury rehabilitation, exercise-based rehabilitation, Clinical Pilates, chronic pain management, post-surgical recovery, and support for active lifestyles.

Role Description

Responsibilities

- Assessing client presentation, planning and delivering appropriate massage techniques.
- Providing remedial and therapeutic massage treatments to a wide variety of clients with sports injuries, chronic pain, muscular tension, and recovery needs.
- Maintaining excellent communication and rapport with clients.
- Documenting treatment notes accurately.
- Collaborating with physiotherapists and admin to support integrated care.
- Providing education to clients on self-management strategies.
- Delivering professional and respectful hands-on services.

What we are looking for

- Relevant remedial massage qualification/certification and professional association membership.




- 3+ years of experience working with acute and chronic pain as well as the ageing population is a must.
- Solid hands-on skills for a range of musculoskeletal conditions.
- Proficiency in specialised modalities with the ability to tailor techniques to individual client needs.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a client-centered approach and clear, professional communication.
- Current professional indemnity insurance and first aid certification.
- Experience working in a clinical or allied health setting is beneficial.
- Capacity to work autonomously and uphold high standards of hygiene and professionalism.
- Open to feedback and collaboration.
- No restrictions on working in Australia (sponsorship NOT available)
- Ability to provide a National Police Clearance and Medicare Provider number.
