We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Casual Disability Support Workers to join our team.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide tailored support to NDIS participants in their homes and throughout the community, empowering them to achieve their goals and maintain independence.

Your responsibilities may include

- Providing assistance with personal care, hygiene and daily living activities.
- Supporting participants with community access, appointments and social participation.
- Assisting with domestic tasks, meal preparation and household routines.
- Supporting participants with mobility, transfers and manual handling in accordance with care plans and training.
- Promoting participant independence, choice, dignity and wellbeing.
- Maintaining accurate shift notes, documentation and reporting.
- Following individualised support plans, organisational policies and NDIS Practice Standards.
- Working collaboratively with participants, families, healthcare professionals and the wider support team.

Shifts may include weekdays, weekends, afternoons and overnight sleepovers, depending on participant requirements.

About You

We are looking for individuals who are compassionate, professional and genuinely committed to providing exceptional disability support.

Essential requirements

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain.




- Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
- Valid Australian driver's licence.
- Reliable access to a vehicle.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Commitment to participant confidentiality, dignity and professional boundaries.
- Willingness to complete mandatory training and ongoing career development.

Highly regarded:

- Previous experience in disability support, aged care, healthcare or community services.
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability or a related qualification.
- Experience supporting participants with complex care needs.
- Competency in manual handling, hoisting and personal care.
- Experience working within the NDIS sector.
