Seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our dynamic team at Unity Living. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized care and assistance to older adults and individuals with disabilities in the Ararat area. What you'll be doing

- Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and domestic cleaning.
- Assisting clients with access to the community with transportation and economic participation activities
- Providing companionship and engaging clients in recreational activities to promote their wellbeing
- Advocating for client needs and collaborating with the care team to ensure comprehensive support
- Maintaining accurate client records and documentation
- Adhering to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in aged care, disability support, or a similar caregiving role
- Minimum 6 months of caregiving experience required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with clients
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others




- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or a willingness to obtain)
- A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
- NDIS worker screening clearance, or willingness to obtain, required
