About The Opportunity
Australian Training Company is seeking a motivated and reliable Landscape Construction Apprentice to join a well-established and growing landscape construction company working across Western Sydney.

You’ll work alongside experienced landscapers and tradespeople on a variety of commercial projects, learning the skills needed to become a qualified landscape construction professional.
This is a full-time, paid apprenticeship where you’ll earn while you learn and work towards a nationally recognised Certificate III in Landscape Construction.
No previous landscaping experience is required. We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and a genuine willingness to learn.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting with landscape construction, including paving, retaining walls, decking and fencing
- Learning turf installation, planting and other landscaping techniques
- Helping with general labouring and site preparation
- Using hand tools, power tools and machinery under appropriate supervision
- Learning to read plans and follow job specifications
- Maintaining clean, organised and safe work sites
- Working as part of a team to deliver quality landscaping projects
Essential Attributes We’re Looking For Someone Who Is
- Keen to learn and develop practical trade skills
- Reliable, punctual and committed to their work
- Physically capable of performing the duties of a hands-on construction role, with reasonable adjustments where applicable
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Able to follow instructions and workplace health and safety procedures
- A team player with a positive attitude
- Prepared to attend TAFE and complete the requirements of the apprenticeship
Desirable Attributes The Following Would Be Advantageous But Are Not Essential
- A genuine interest in landscaping, construction or another building trade
- A current White Card, or willingness to obtain one before commencing site work
- A current driver’s licence or working towards obtaining one
- Previous labouring, gardening, landscaping or construction experience
- Completion of Year 11 or Year 12
- Experience using hand tools or power tools
School leavers, juniors and career starters are encouraged to apply. No previous trade experience is required. What We Offer
