Experience in a quick-paced kitchen will be highly regarded. We are looking for someone who is creative, organized, and passionate.

- To qualify for the role, you must have:
- · Relevant qualifications,
- · Minimum 2 years experience in the commercial kitchen,
- · Willingness to work with a rotating roster,
- · Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays,
- · Expertise in cooking curries,
- · Expertise in Tandoori cuisine,
- . Expertise in Indian appetizers,
- · Good communication skills,
- · Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards,
- · Ability to work unsupervised and in a team,
- · Understanding of OH&S; requirements,
- · Maintain workplace hygiene requirements,
- Position:
- Full-time (38 hours per week)
- Salary: $74000 plus super per annum.
- Duties
- · Plan and develop menus,




- · Prepare menus with special dietary needs,
- · Be able to prepare, cook and present curries from different regions of India and Nepal,
- · Be able to prepare, cook, and present Tandoori delicacies,
- · Be able to prepare, cook and present appetizers from India and Nepal,
- · Create preparation lists for the kitchen crew,
- · Be able to manage food cost & inventory,
- · Train colleagues in job skills,
- · Receive, store, Maintain and rotate stock,
- · Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety procedures,
- · Maintain food safety procedures,
- · Experience in catering will be highly advantageous,
