We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join out hospital kitchen team, delivering high-quality meals that meet the dietary needs to patients, visitors and staff.

Make a Difference Every Day…

As a Chef, you will play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality and patient-focused catering services. Your responsibilities will include:

- Prepare and serve patient meals and ensuring dietary requirements are met
- Prepare food for St Andrew's Hospital Cafe and Kiosk
- Provide catering for on-site functions, suites and visiting medical officers
- Meet meal service times whole maintaining consistent food quality and presentation
- maintain kitchen hygiene, food safety and safe work practices
- monitor stock levels,



rotate supplies and minimise food waste

What Makes a Difference for Us?

We are seeking an individual who possesses the following:

- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- Demonstrated experience working as a Chef
- Experience in healthcare or large-scale food service, highly regarded
- Sound knowledge of food safety, kitchen hygiene and dietary requirements
- Ability to work collaboratively in a busy kitchen team
- Strong organisational, time management and communication skills
- Commitment to quality food presentation and customer service
- Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Experience in stock control, waste reduction and effective food preparation
- Experience in café, retail or function catering, beneficial
