Step Into the Kitchen

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chef to join our kitchen team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items, maintaining food quality and presentation, coordinating food preparation activities and supporting compliance with food safety requirements.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

•Prepare and cook a range of plant-based meals and menu items, ensuring dishes are produced consistently in accordance with recipes and established standards.

•Oversee the presentation and quality of prepared dishes at different stages of food preparation and service.

•Coordinate food preparation requirements with management, kitchen team members and front-of-house staff to support smooth and timely service.

•Guide kitchen staff in appropriate cooking techniques,



preparation methods and established kitchen procedures.

•Organise menu requirements, estimate food and labour needs, and assist with ordering appropriate food supplies.

•Maintain and reinforce food hygiene, sanitation and safe food-handling practices throughout kitchen operations.

•Support the induction, training and development of kitchen team members and provide practical guidance on food preparation procedures when required.

What You’ll Bring

•AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Culinary Arts, Commercial Cookery or a related field.

•Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a commercial kitchen, restaurant, pizza shop or food service environment.

•Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and commercial kitchen procedures.

•Strong communication, teamwork and time-management skills.

•Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
