About the role

Ground Civil is seeking an experienced Civil Designer to join our West Perth office, with strong experience in subdivision and land development design.

You will work on a variety of civil and land development projects across Western Australia, taking designs from initial concept through detailed design and authority approval. The role will suit a practical designer who is confident in Civil 3D and can work independently while collaborating closely with our engineering team.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare subdivision and land development designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Design roads, earthworks, stormwater drainage, sewer and water infrastructure
- Prepare detailed design and construction drawings
- Develop Civil 3D surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors and earthworks models
- Coordinate designs with surveyors, engineers and other consultants
- Assist with local government, Water Corporation and other authority approvals
- Respond to design review comments and coordinate amendments through to approval
- Ensure designs and documentation are accurate, practical and compliant with applicable standards

About you





- Demonstrated civil design experience in subdivision and land development
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Practical experience in road, drainage, earthworks and utility design
- Australian civil design experience
- WA subdivision and land development experience will be highly regarded
- Familiarity with WA approval processes and relevant authority requirements will be highly regarded
- Ability to work independently and manage design tasks efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality construction documentation
- Good communication and coordination skills
