Sydney Shade Sails (NSW) Pty Ltd is a leading company in the Shade Industry of NSW, specialising in the design, fabrication and installation of shade structures and sails.

We offer varied work across greater Sydney and country NSW.

Our company is looking to employ a casual experienced civil labourer, construction worker, skilled labourer or installer, for the installation of shade structures with a minimum of 3 years in the construction or Shade Sail industries.

- Must be competent using ladders and working at heights
- Must be competent and experienced using power tools
- Be physically fit, strong and agile
- Capable of working up to 40-50hrs a week.
- Be a valuable team player
- Be mature minded, responsible, honest, neat and tidy
- Have a responsible attitude towards drugs, alcohol and workplace safety
- Ability to carry out basic tasks un-supervised
- Current White Card
- Current driver's license (LR License desirable)
- National Police Clearance certificate ( current)
- Working With Children Clearance or qualified for one (application required prior to starting)
- Full PPE (hard hat, steel cap boots, work pants, )
- Be willing and able to work away from home several times per year.





Other qualifications/ licenses such as EWP and Excavator license are desirable.

You will be responsible for:

- Installation of steel columns, beams, rafters, steel fixings and brackets
- Installation of shade sails
- Excavation and concreting of footings
- Measuring of shade sails and structures
- General labour duties
- Following OHS requirements.

Applicants must have reliable transport to travel to our factory in Riverwood, NSW.

On the job training will be provided.

The role may turn into a full time role for the right candidate..

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $38.00 – $48.00 per hour
