About the Role Ideal Corp is seeking a Civil Engineering Technician / Laboratory Technician to join the team. This full‑time, permanent position involves a combination of laboratory testing, field work and technical support within the concrete and construction materials environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct field and laboratory testing of concrete, grout, mortar, admixtures and construction materials in accordance with Australian Standards and project specifications
- Collect, prepare, cure and test samples and maintain accurate testing records
- Analyse and interpret test data including slump, air content, strength, durability, permeability and material performance




- Assist engineers with mix design evaluation, admixture performance and compliance assessments Perform site sampling, inspections and field testing
- Operate, calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and testing instruments
- Prepare test reports, technical summaries and compliance documentation Support quality assurance, technical investigations and R&D; activities

Candidate Requirements

- Diploma or higher qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant Australian employment
- Experience in concrete, construction materials or laboratory testing is highly regarded
- Robust attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate technical records

Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
