About the Role

Tuscom Subdivision Consultants Pty Ltd is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Civil Engineering Technician to join our team on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will provide technical support for residential and commercial subdivision and land development projects, assisting with civil engineering investigations, technical drawings and documentation, engineering calculations, site and survey data analysis, and inspection and verification of civil works.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, analyse and interpret survey, site and engineering data for residential and commercial subdivision and land development projects.
- Undertake technical calculations and computations relating to site levels, dimensions, areas, depths, quantities and civil infrastructure requirements.
- Prepare and revise civil engineering sketches, drawings, plans and technical documentation for roads, stormwater drainage, sewerage, water supply, retaining walls and other subdivision infrastructure.
- Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D and other relevant engineering software to prepare and update engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Interpret engineering plans, survey information, technical specifications and project requirements.
- Assist with site investigations, field measurements and the review of property boundaries, site levels,



existing services and infrastructure.
- Inspect and verify civil engineering works on site and compare completed works against approved plans, specifications and project requirements.
- Assist with the preparation and updating of as constructed/as-built drawings, technical records and project documentation.
- Assist with estimating quantities and costs of materials required for civil engineering and subdivision works.
- Provide technical support to engineers and other technical personnel in the planning, design, inspection and delivery of subdivision and land development projects.

Skills and Experience

- Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in civil engineering, subdivision and land development.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, survey plans and technical specifications.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and other relevant engineering software.
- Sound knowledge of civil infrastructure, including drainage, sewerage, water supply and roadworks.
- Strong technical, analytical and communication skills with positive attention to detail.
