Looking for your next opportunity in civil construction? Join an established team delivering electrical and communications infrastructure works across AURA on the Sunshine Coast. We have opportunities for experienced Civil Operators and Civil Labourers to join our Infrastructure Services team. Whether you're an experienced plant operator or a hands-on civil labourer, we're keen to hear from people with experience across underground services, pit and pipe, utilities, electrical infrastructure or pipelaying.

About The Prospect Based at AURA, Sunshine Coast, you'll work alongside our civil and electrical crews delivering infrastructure works across the project.

Civil Operators Your duties will include:

- Operating civil plant and equipment for electrical infrastructure works
- Trenching and backfilling
- Working safely around underground services and utilities
- Assisting with electrical and civil infrastructure construction
- Supporting the installation of pit and pipe and associated infrastructure
- Maintaining a safe, organised and productive work environment
- Following all safety, environmental and quality procedures

Civil Labourers Your duties will include:

- Installing civil electrical and communications infrastructure, including pit and pipe and streetlighting infrastructure
- Supporting machine operators and electrical tradespeople on site
- Trenching, backfilling and site preparation
- Concreting and grouting
- Site set-out and general civil labouring




- Working around underground and live services under appropriate supervision
- Operating civil plant and equipment where licensed and competent
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised worksite

About You We're looking for reliable, safety-focused people who enjoy being part of a hands-on civil crew. To be successful, you will ideally have:

- Previous civil construction or similar experience
- Construction White Card - essential
- Experience working around underground services and utilities
- Experience with civil tools, plant and equipment
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
- Flexibility to work day and night shifts if required
- C Class Driver's Licence minimum

Highly Regarded Qualifications & Tickets Candidates with any of the following licences, tickets or experience are strongly encouraged to apply:

- Excavator ticket and/or proven operating experience
- Skid Steer / Bobcat ticket and experience
- Front End Loader ticket or operating experience
- MR or HR Driver Licence
- Previous experience in electrical infrastructure civil works
- Pit and pipe experience
- Pipelaying experience
- Plumbing experience
- Experience working around underground services and utilities
