Description

You will be required to work on civil construction and infrastructure projects performing a variety of physical tasks. Explicit and prepare sites to be worked on, direct traffic through worksites, move materials around the site and at times operate the machinery.

Responsibilities

- Report to the client and/or Matrix Unlimited supervisor.
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
- Promote a safe, positive teamwork environment.
- Complete and submit timesheets.
- Report all near misses, incidents, and hazards to supervisor/leading hand/management.
- Report any equipment damage/faults to supervisor/leading hand/management.
- Complete all tasks to the highest quality.
- Work in a manner that will not endanger themselves or others.
- Work systematically with required attention to detail without injury to self or others, or damage to equipment.
- Preparing work sites by clearing grassm scrub, topsoil, and debris.
- Erectiing and dismantling barricades, signage, and lights on construction sites.




- Loading and unloading construction materials and equipment. and transporting them around sites.
- Adhering to WHS protocols and complying with environmental and safety orders.
- Directing traffic through construction sites.
- Mixing, pouring, and spreading gravel and concrete.
- Digging holes and preparing sites for installation of drains and other fixtures.
- Operating machinery such as pavers, rollers, diggers, and excavators (if relevant tickets are held).
- Landscaping surrounding areas with trees, shrubs, and grass seed..

Skills And Experiences

Required Qualifications - Civil operations

- Construction Card
- Category 3 Medical Including D& A
- Currency for Excavator size and experience
- Currency for Front end Loader size and experience
- Currency for Dozer/ Scraper size and experience
- Currency for Tele- Handler size and experience
- MC - HR Drivers

Required Experience

- At least 2 + Years in the chosen area
