Title: Client Funding Officer
Employment: Full-time 76 hours a fortnight / Fixed term for 9 months
Salary: $80,000 p.a. plus super and NFP Salary packaging
Location: Hobart, Tasmania or Surrey Hills, Melbourne
As a Client Funding Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring clients receive the supports they need while helping Able Australia deliver financially sustainable services. By accurately managing funding, monitoring expenditure and resolving claiming issues, you will help maximise each client's available funding and reduce financial risk to the organisation.
Reporting to the Client Funding Manager, you will assess funding viability, prepare service agreements and Schedules of Supports, monitor expenditure and work across teams to ensure services align with available NDIS funding and approved budgets.
Here's what we are looking for:
- Strong knowledge of NDIS funding, claiming requirements and compliance obligations.
- Experience in client funding management or financial administration within disability, health or community services.
- Strong financial literacy, including budget monitoring, expenditure reconciliation and resolving claiming issues.
- Excellent analytical and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Transparent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and explain funding information effectively.
