Sydney | Hybrid | $110k-$120k + super A hands-on client role for someone who likes keeping things moving

Are you naturally organised, good with people and someone who enjoys being in the middle of things?

We’re looking for a Client Partner to join a growing strategy and creative consultancy, working closely with one of their major clients on a fascinating and complex long-term project.

This isn’t a traditional account management role. It’s a mix of client relationships, project management, production, stakeholder management and getting stuck in . You’ll be the person who keeps the moving parts moving, makes sure everyone knows what’s happening and helps turn ideas and requests into clear, well-managed projects.

The role is based in Sydney, with around 2 days per week onsite at the client’s office in Homebush West. The remaining days are generally worked from home, with some flexibility depending on client and project needs. What You’ll Be Doing Around 70% of your time will be focused on one major client, working closely with a large and diverse stakeholder group. You’ll become a familiar face within their team and build strong relationships across the business.

Your Day Might Include

- Managing multiple projects, timelines and stakeholders at once
- Working closely with the client to understand what they need and turn it into a explicit brief
- Coordinating creative, production, suppliers and other external partners
- Keeping projects moving and making sure nothing falls through the cracks
- Supporting annual reports, events, stakeholder communications and other key projects

- Helping coordinate projects involving government and senior stakeholders
- Proofreading and checking content before it goes out
- Getting out from behind the desk and talking to people across the client’s business to understand what’s happening on the ground
- Supporting other clients across the wider business as required

About You You might come from an agency account management, client services, project management, production, studio management, communications or events background. What Matters Most Is How You Work. You’ll be someone who:

- Is highly organised and enjoys managing lots of moving parts
- Builds relationships naturally and is comfortable speaking with all kinds of people
- Can confidently walk into a room of senior stakeholders, but is equally happy having a chat with someone on the ground
- Isn’t afraid to ask questions or approach people they don’t know
- Has good judgement and can work independently
- Is comfortable managing timelines, budgets, suppliers and competing priorities
- Has strong attention to detail
- Is curious about how businesses work and genuinely interested in understanding your clients
- Is practical and hands-on rather than someone who only wants to sit at a strategic level

You don’t need to have years and years of experience.

Someone with 3+ years in a fast-paced agency or similar setting could be a great fit if they have the right attitude, organisation and people skills. Most importantly, you need to be personable . This is a very relationship-driven role, and the ability to build trust with people at all levels will be a big part of your success. The Company You’ll be joining a small, smart and growing strategy and creative consultancy with a supportive senior team and a genuinely varied client portfolio.

The Sydney team is growing, while the wider senior team is based in Melbourne. You’ll have plenty of support around you, particularly while you get to know the major client and their business, and there are regular opportunities to connect with the wider team.

There’s a lot of autonomy in the role, but you won’t be left to figure everything out on your own.

What’s On Offer

- $110k-$120k + super
- Permanent, full-time role
- Hybrid working
- Around 2 days per week onsite in Homebush West
- Opportunity to work closely with a major, complex client
- Variety across clients, projects and industries
- Supportive, senior team
- Quarterly opportunities to connect with the wider Melbourne team

If you’re someone who likes people, loves being organised and gets a strange amount of satisfaction from making complicated things feel simple, we’d love to hear from you. Please note: Applicants must have Australian citizenship or Permanent Residency to be considered for this role. We are unable to consider candidates requiring sponsorship or those on temporary visas.
