About the Facility

This busy, fast-paced day surgery in South Perth is known for strong clinical outcomes and patient service. Across 6 theatres and 3 procedure rooms, it specialises in Dental and Oral/Maxillofacial, Dermatology/Mohs, Plastics, IVF and Ophthalmology.

The Role

This is a full-time Clinical Nurse Specialist position in Anaesthetics. You will support the GM/DON and NUM, mentor colleagues and help drive quality and safety across a 6-theatre day surgery. Experience in the hospital's specialties and in a fast-paced day or short stay setting will be well regarded.

In this role, you will:

- Deliver evidence-based care, monitoring patient wellbeing and providing safe, high-quality treatment at each stage of the hospital stay.
- Prepare the facility, equipment and clinical environment for safe, efficient surgery.
- Coordinate and support procurement so the team has the resources it needs.
- Maintain clear team communication, assess patient progress and respond promptly to changes or complications.
- Mentor and educate colleagues, sharing your clinical knowledge to support safe, consistent practice.
- Support the GM/DON and NUM with quality and safety activities and continuous improvement.

What You Will Bring

- Advanced experience as an Anaesthetic nurse in a surgical hospital setting.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Postgraduate qualifications relevant to the role, or a commitment to working towards them.
- Advanced clinical and technical capability, with sound problem-solving skills.
- A genuine passion for education, mentoring and clinical leadership.




- The ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with patients, doctors, colleagues and other stakeholders.
- Solid time management, organisational and communication skills.
- Full Australian working rights.
