About the role

Mind & Me Psychology is seeking a Clinical Psychologist or Registered Psychologist to join our team in Wyong NSW. This is a part-time or full-time position or contractor role, that offers flexibility whilst making a meaningful impact on clients' mental health and wellbeing. As a Clinical or Registered Psychologist, you will provide evidence-based psychological assessment, diagnosis and treatment to individuals experiencing a range of mental health concerns.

This role is integral to delivering high-quality psychological services within our practice and contributes to our mission of improving mental health outcomes in the Wyong community.

Key responsibilities

- Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations
- Providing individual psychotherapy and evidence-based psychological interventions to clients across the life span
- Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans based on client needs and clinical formulation
- Maintaining detailed, accurate and timely clinical documentation and client records in accordance with professional and legal requirements
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including general practitioners and psychiatrists, to ensure coordinated care
- Providing crisis support and risk assessment when required
- Participating in professional development and maintaining current knowledge of evidence-based practices
- Contributing to a positive and supportive team environment within the practice

What we're looking for





- Current registration as a Clinical Psychologist or Registered Psychologist or a New graduate of Masters in Clinical Psychology who is eligible for registration with the Psychology Board of Australia soon.
- Minimum qualification of a relevant postgraduate degree in psychology or clinical psychology
- Demonstrated experience in conducting psychological assessments and providing individual therapy
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and psychological interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with diverse clients
- Proficiency in clinical documentation and familiarity with relevant privacy and consent legislation
- Ability to work independently whilst maintaining professional standards and ethical practice in accordance with the Psychology Board of Australia Code of Professional conduct
- Current First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
- Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS worker screening check, must have Professional Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability Insurance
- Experience working with clients presenting with complex mental health presentations is desirable
- Eligibility to obtain a Medicare provider number
