Club Sales & Partnerships Manager – Cheer & Dance

CheerCon | Beresfield, NSW | Permanent Part-Time – 30 Hours | Hybrid | Base + Commission Know the cheer and dance industry? Great with people, commercially minded and someone who never lets an enquiry go unfollowed?

CheerCon is looking for a Club Sales & Partnerships Manager to become the go-to person for our new and existing club clients across Australia.

This is a newly created role combining sales, relationship management and business development across our apparel, merchandise and event divisions.

We're looking for someone who understands the cheer and/or dance world, builds genuine relationships and has the drive to turn opportunities into results — without being a pushy salesperson.

You'll look after our existing club network while actively finding new clients, growing product and apparel sales, and bringing more clubs, universities and scholastic programs into CheerCon events.

The role

You'll manage and grow relationships with club owners, coaches, universities and schools, helping them with everything CheerCon has to offer, including:

- Custom uniforms and training apparel
- Club and event merchandise
- Costumes
- Pom poms, bows and accessories
- CheerCon event registrations

You'll be responsible for both nurturing existing clients and actively finding new business. A major focus will also be growing participation across CheerCon events — including introducing new and developing clubs, university programs and scholastic programs to our competitions.

What you'll be doing

- Building strong, long-term relationships with existing club clients
- Becoming the primary sales contact for club owners and coaches
- Managing and following up apparel, merchandise and product enquiries
- Proactively identifying sales opportunities within existing accounts
- Finding and developing new club clients
- Preparing, managing and following up quotes and sales opportunities
- Promoting CheerCon events and converting interest into registrations
- Developing relationships with clubs that haven't previously attended All Star competitions
- Growing university and scholastic participation
- Re-engaging previous and inactive clients

- Keeping accurate records of conversations, opportunities and follow-ups
- Working closely with our apparel, events, marketing and operations teams
- Contributing directly to overall sales, profit and client growth

The follow-up matters

One of the biggest expectations of this role is simple: Nothing gets forgotten.

If someone asks for a quote, it gets followed up.

If someone sends an enquiry, they get a response.

If a club says, "Maybe next season", that's recorded and followed up next season.

We don't want someone who simply answers enquiries as they arrive. We want someone who takes ownership of opportunities and follows them through.

You'll need exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills, as you'll often have multiple clients, quotes and opportunities moving at once.

Who we're looking for

A strong background or experience within the cheerleading and/or dance industry is highly desirable. You might currently be a coach, club/studio administrator, program manager, industry retailer, apparel representative, event professional or someone from the cheer/dance world who has moved into sales or customer service.

You don't need years of corporate sales experience. We're looking for the right combination of industry knowledge, people skills, commercial instinct and follow-through.

You'll ideally

- Be personable, confident and genuinely enjoy building relationships
- Understand the cheer and/or dance industry
- Have experience in sales, retail, customer service or account management
- Be able to sell confidently without being aggressive or pushy
- Be comfortable proactively approaching potential clients
- Have exceptional attention to detail
- Be highly organised and excellent with follow-ups
- Be confident using computer programs and online systems
- Work independently and take ownership

- Be commercially minded and motivated by growth

Adaptable & hybrid working

This is a permanent part-time position working 30 hours per week, with flexibility around how those hours are structured across the working week. For your first month, your hours will be worked from our Beresfield office while you learn our products, events, systems, processes and clients.

Once you're established in the role, you'll move to a hybrid arrangement with the equivalent of:

2 days per week working from our Beresfield office

Remaining hours able to be worked from home

We're happy to discuss how the 30 hours are structured to find an arrangement that works for both you and the business.

Because this is a client-facing sales role, you'll need to be self-motivated, organised and highly responsive to clients regardless of where you're working.

Base rate + commission

This position offers a base rate plus performance-based commission, giving you the opportunity to directly increase your earnings as you grow the business. Commission is linked to growth in profit and operates on a sliding scale — meaning the more profitable growth you generate, the greater your commission opportunity.

Growth can come from

- Increasing sales with existing clubs
- Winning new club clients
- Growing apparel, merchandise and product sales
- Increasing CheerCon event entries
- Growing university and scholastic participation
- Re-engaging previous clients
- Identifying and converting new revenue opportunities

Full details of the commission structure will be discussed during the interview process.

Sound like you?

If you understand cheer and dance, love building relationships, have a strong sales mindset and are the type of person who actually follows things through, we'd love to hear from you. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a brand-new role and directly contribute to the growth of CheerCon — while being financially rewarded for the results you create.

Apply through SEEK with your resume and a short cover letter telling us about your cheer/dance background, your sales or client relationship experience, and why this role sounds like you.
