CNC Mills and Lathe Machinist

Seeking skilled CNC Machinist and Programmer to produce precision components for industrial manufacturing with an emphasis on sectors such as mining and drilling. This is a permanent full-time role based in a well-established engineering workshop within regional Victoria.

About the CNC Machinist position

- Key skills: MasterCam, Fanuc, Mills and lathes
- Remuneration: Up to $40 per hour, depending on experience.
- Location: Horsham and Grampians area

Primary duties include

- Operating and programming CNC mills and lathes to manufacture precision parts.
- Using CNC controller interfaces and CAM software to produce components primarily from medium to high-grade steels.
- Maintaining tight machining tolerances in line with quality standards.
- Setting up machinery and adjusting tooling accurately to specifications.
- Performing thorough quality inspections and following health and safety protocols.
- Working collaboratively with production teams to ensure smooth workflow and process improvements.
