Job Title: Commercial Cook

Location: Paladino’s Pizza and Pasta Family Restaurant

Employment Type: Part time, approximately 15 hours of service, additional hours for prep also available if interested

Hours of kitchen operation

- Friday: 4:30 PM – 9:30 PM
- Saturday: 4:30PM - 9:30PM
- Sunday: 4:30PM - 8:30PM

Additional hours for kitchen preparation can be completed at times suitable for successful applicant.

We are seeking a part-time Commercial Cook to prepare and cook a variety of Italian-inspired dishes during dinner service. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen, has experience with Italian cuisine, and values consistency and quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Cook a variety of Italian dishes, including pastas, risottos, chicken/veal parmigiana,



garlic prawns and fried calamari and chips.
- Ensure all meals are presented to a high standard
- Maintain a clean and organized cooking station
- Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service

- All prep work is completed prior to your shift at a time that suits you – just focus on cooking. Applicants not interested in completing prep work should still apply.

Requirements:
- Experience in a commercial kitchen, particularly in cooking Italian cuisine
- Ability to work independently during service
- Reliability and punctuality
- Food Safety and Handling certification (or willingness to obtain)
