As our firm continues to grow, we are seeking lawyers to join both our Commercial Litigation and Asbestos Litigation teams in Melbourne.

About the Roles

Commercial Litigation Lawyer (Associate to Principal Lawyer)

We are seeking commercially minded litigators with 4+ years' commercial litigation experience who enjoy solving complex legal problems, working closely with clients and delivering strategic outcomes.

You will work on a broad range of commercial disputes and advisory matters while contributing to the continued growth of a energetic and respected practice.

Asbestos Litigation Lawyer (Lawyer to Principal Lawyer)

We are seeking lawyers with 2+ years' post-admission experience , including practitioners with backgrounds in asbestos litigation, personal injury, WorkCover, TAC, public liability, dust diseases or other plaintiff litigation practice areas.





You will work on complex and meaningful matters that make a genuine difference to clients and their families.

Duties

- Manage litigation matters from commencement through to resolution
- Provide strategic legal advice and exceptional client service
- Draft pleadings, court documents, correspondence and submissions
- Represent clients at mediations, conferences and court hearings
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm
- Mentor and support junior lawyers where appropriate
- Contribute to the growth and development of the practice

Skills & Experience

Commercial Litigation

- Minimum 4 years' commercial litigation experience
- Commercial Litigation
- Dispute Resolution
- Contract Disputes
- Commercial Law
- Advocacy and Negotiation
- Legal Drafting
- Client Relationship Management
- Business Development experience highly regarded

Asbestos Litigation

- Minimum 2 years' post-admission experience
- Personal Injury Law
- Asbestos Litigation experience highly regarded
- Common Law Claims
- WorkCover and/or TAC experience highly regarded
- Plaintiff Litigation
- Advocacy and Negotiation
- Strong client relationship management skills
