Commercial Manager (Interim)

Our Memorial Parks and Gardens have served local communities as places of remembrance and tranquillity for generations. Across New South Wales and Queensland, our parks provide cemetery, cremation and memorialisation services while continuing to evolve in response to the cultural and religious needs of the communities they support.

Through our Pets business , we provide caring and compassionate pet aftercare services to families across Australia. Our services include individual and communal cremation options, together with memorial products such as urns, engraved plaques and keepsakes that help families honour and preserve the memory of their pets.

Due to a recent internal business secondment, we are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to join us at our Rhodes head office on a full-time, six-month fixed-term contract ,



partnering closely with the leadership teams across our Cemeteries & Crematoria and PetCrem businesses.

The opportunity

This is a highly influential commercial finance role where you’ll translate complex financial and operational information into clear insights, recommendations, and actions.

As a trusted partner to senior operational leaders, you’ll provide commercial guidance across business performance, planning, pricing, investment, profitability, and risk. You’ll bring constructive challenge, strong financial discipline and a genuine understanding of the operational drivers behind performance.

What you’ll be responsible for

- Partnering with senior leaders to identify performance risks, opportunities, and commercial trade-offs
- Leading budgeting, rolling forecasts and regular performance reviews
- Connecting financial outcomes with operational activity and key business drivers
- Developing commercial models and business cases for pricing, investment, growth, and cost optimisation
- Providing insight across revenue, margin, profitability, cash flow, working capital and capital expenditure
- Improving management reporting, dashboards, and planning processes
- Supporting sound financial governance, controls, and risk management
- Leading,



coaching and developing a Commercial Analyst

What you’ll bring

- CA, CPA, or CFA qualification
- At least eight years of relevant commercial finance experience
- Strong financial modelling, forecasting and scenario-analysis capability
- Proven ability to influence senior operational stakeholders and turn analysis into action
- Sound knowledge across P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow, revenue, inventory, and capital expenditure
- Advanced Excel capability and practical experience with BI, planning, and ERP systems
- Strong commercial judgement, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
- Experience in profitability analysis and business-case governance
- Previous experience leading or coaching finance team members

Experience within healthcare industry or similar, large or complex organisations, M&A; or business integration experience will be highly regarded. Why join InvoCare?
