- Versatile Work Location - This role offers flexibility to be based at one of our operational sites across the Southwest or from a Perth metropolitan location, depending on the successful candidates circumstance and operational requirements.

- Mining Industry - Residential role

- 12.5% Super – Monthly contributions

Doral Mineral Sands Pty Ltd (DMS), mines and processes heavy mineral sands near Mandurah, Bunbury and Busselton in the Southwest of WA As part of the company's growth strategy, we have broadened our mineral sands operations recently acquiring Coburn Resources within the Gascoyne region. We are a medium sized business with a strong focus on our family culture and core values of safety, integrity, sustainability and collaboration. This role will provide an excellent entre opportunity as a valued and integral part of a successful mining operation.

This role is based near Bunbury at our Picton Site and will report directly to the General Manager.

The Commercial Manager is responsible for the strategic and operational management of commercial functions within the business, including oversight of mining leases, amenity agreements and major supplier contracts. This role ensures the commercial agreements are negotiated, executed and managed in line with business objectives, legal compliance and financial best practice.

The commercial manager plays a critical role in supporting business growth and risk management through effective contract governance, financial oversight and both internal and external stakeholder engagement. The role requires a strong commercial acumen,



contract management expertise and a solid foundation in finance.

The key accountabilities for this role includes, however is not limited to the following:

- Manage the lifecycle of all mining leases and amenity agreements ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company obligations

- Lead commercial negotiations with landholders, suppliers and service providers to secure favourable terms and maintain strong relationships

- Develop, review and manage supplier and service agreements, ensuring commercial value and legal compliance.

- Support legal counsel and external advisors/consultants in drafting, reviewing and interpreting contracts and agreements

- Monitor and manage key commercial risks, including contract exposure, lease compliance and supplier performance

- Collaborate with operations, finance and legal teams to align commercial strategies with overall business goals

- Provide commercial input into tendering processes, capital projects and procurement/supply chain activities

- Lead periodic reviews of commercial agreements to identify optimisation or renegotiation opportunities, follow up by actioning any identified opportunities

- Maintain accurate commercial records and reporting to management team and any regulatory bodies as required





- Assist and coach applicable stakeholders in commercial aspects of their positions requirement.

Contribute to the strategic decision-making and forecasting through the provision of financial and contractual insights.

Key factors to your success include;

- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Finance, Business Law or related discipline is desirable

- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in a commercial, contracts or finance focused role, preferably within the mining, resources, or infrastructure sectors

- Demonstrated experience managing complex lease agreements, land access arrangements or service contracts

- Strong understanding of commercial law, contract negotiation, and risk management

- Proficient in financial modelling, analysis and budgeting

- Excellent stakeholder engagement communication and negotiation skills, along with the ability to delegate and source functional skills from different departments

- Sound knowledge of mining with considerable experience and competence in the resources industry

- High level of attention to detail and analytical ability

- Positive, can-do attitude with a passion for continuous improvement.

Working Conditions

- Full Time - Monday to Friday

- 9 day Fortnight – regular RDO available

- Family Friendly workplace

- Travel between sites is required

- Minimum C class license and own vehicle required

- Subject to pre-employment medical and drug screen
