About the Role

DPE Civil is looking for a reliable and motivated Concrete Truck Driver to join our team in Townsville, Queensland. Working as part of our Heidelberg Materials contract, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of concrete to a range of sites across the region. You’ll be dealing directly with customers and site teams, so a professional attitude, good communication skills and a strong focus on safety are essential.

Experience operating a concrete agitator is an advantage, but not essential — full training will be provided to the right candidate.

This is a casual position offering consistent work, generally 38+ hours per week, with availability required Monday to Saturday. For the right person, there is a genuine opportunity to transition into a permanent position.

What You'll Be Doing

- Safely operate a concrete agitator truck and deliver concrete to various construction sites
- Complete pre-start and post-operation checks to ensure the truck is safe and in good working condition
- Liaise professionally with customers, site managers and project teams to ensure deliveries run smoothly and efficiently
- Maintain accurate delivery records and complete required paperwork
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures and road regulations
- Assist the wider team as required to help ensure the successful completion of daily operations

What We're Looking For

- Current Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence
- Demonstrated safe driving history
- Availability to work Monday to Saturday
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures and environmental requirements




- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Ability to respond positively to changing priorities
- Commitment to quality, safety and environmental best practice
- Willingness to learn and follow company training and procedures
