Role Description The Construction Project Manager for Commercial and Residential Projects is a full-time, on-site role based in St Kilda, VIC. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end project delivery for commercial and residential developments, including planning, scheduling, and overseeing construction activities. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating contractors and consultants, monitoring site progress, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

The role involves regular site inspections, stakeholder communication, and risk management to keep projects on track and within scope.

Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure projects are delivered to specification and client requirements.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Construction Project Management and Construction Management, with proven experience overseeing commercial and residential builds.
- Proficiency in Project Management and Project Coordination, including scheduling, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.
- Demonstrated capability in Budgeting and cost control, with experience managing project financials and reporting.
- Working knowledge of building codes, regulations, and OH&S; requirements relevant to construction projects in Victoria.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and a focus on quality outcomes.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with clients, consultants, trades, and authorities.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience with project management and construction software tools; familiarity with reporting and documentation best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects or stages concurrently.
