About the Opportunity

Primed Health Hub invites Consultant Psychiatrists seeking a flexible private-practice base on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. The arrangement is designed around how you prefer to practise. You may operate entirely independently, use selected Primed Health administrative services, or join our multidisciplinary psychology and psychiatry team.

Choose the Model That Suits You

1. Independent Room Rental

Rent a professional consulting room while operating your practice independently.

You may

- Use your own administration and practice systems
- Manage your own appointments, billing and referrals
- Set your own fees and consulting hours
- Retain your billings and pay an agreed room-rental fee

2. Room Rental with Administrative Support

Maintain your independent practice while Primed Health assists with some or all of the following:
- Reception and patient enquiries
- Appointment scheduling
- Billing and Medicare administration
- Referral coordination
- Practice-management systems
- Clinical correspondence and general administration

The level of support and service fee can be agreed according to your requirements.

3. Join the Primed Health Team





Become part of an expanding multidisciplinary psychology and psychiatry service with:
- A strong and growing referral flow
- Administrative, billing and scheduling support
- Established relationships with referring GPs
- Collaboration with psychologists and other health professionals
- Opportunities for face-to-face and telehealth practice

You retain appropriate clinical independence while working within a coordinated and professionally supported team.

Who We Are Seeking

We welcome enquiries from psychiatrists who:
- Hold current specialist registration in psychiatry with AHPRA
- Hold FRANZCP or an equivalent recognised specialist qualification
- Are eligible to provide Medicare-rebatable psychiatric services
- Maintain appropriate professional indemnity insurance
- Hold an ABN where required
- Value flexible private practice and high-quality collaborative care

Both experienced private practitioners and recently fellowed psychiatrists are welcome to enquire.

The Location

The consulting rooms are located in Frenchs Forest, in close proximity to Northern Beaches Hospital and the surrounding medical precinct. Flexible consulting arrangements can be discussed according to room availability and your preferred practice model.
