We are currently seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join an established and growing commercial construction business in Brisbane.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Contract Administrator looking to take the next step in their career and work across a range of quality commercial projects with a supportive and collaborative team.

The OpportunityAs a Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for the commercial and contractual administration of projects from commencement through to completion. You will work closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, consultants and clients to ensure projects are delivered successfully, commercially and in accordance with contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the administration of construction contracts from award through to completion
- Prepare, review and maintain contract documentation, correspondence and schedules
- Manage subcontractor procurement, packages and agreements
- Administer progress claims, payment schedules and variations
- Monitor project costs, forecasts, commitments and commercial performance
- Assist with the preparation and resolution of contractual claims
- Identify contractual and commercial risks and work with the project team to mitigate them
- Maintain accurate project and contract records
- Track key contractual dates, milestones and deliverables
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers
- Provide commercial and contractual support to Project Managers and senior management
- Assist with dispute resolution and commercial negotiations where required





About YouWe are looking for someone who is commercially minded, organised and confident managing the contractual requirements of a construction project.

You will ideally have

- 2+ years' experience as a Contract Administrator within commercial construction
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Building, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and commercial principles
- Experience managing variations, claims, subcontractors and progress payments
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving commercial issues
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a project team
