About the Role
As a Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and management of JOA Foods' commercial contracts and agreements.
Working closely with management and key internal and external stakeholders, you will support the preparation, review, negotiation, variation and renewal of contracts while monitoring contractual obligations, maintaining accurate documentation and assisting with the resolution of contract-related matters.

● Administer contracts throughout their lifecycle, including execution, variations, extensions, renewals and completion.
● Monitor contractual obligations, key dates, deliverables and performance requirements to ensure agreements are administered in accordance with their terms.
● Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract registers, agreements, correspondence, variations, renewal dates and supporting documentation.
● Respond to contract-related enquiries, discrepancies and issues,
liaising with relevant parties to facilitate timely and commercially appropriate resolutions.
● Analyse contractual terms and proposed changes to identify commercial, operational and financial risks, and provide recommendations to management where required.
● Interpret and communicate contract requirements, obligations, terms and conditions to relevant stakeholders to support compliance and informed business decision-making.
● Contribute to the negotiation of contractual arrangements with suppliers, service providers, customers and other commercial partners, including pricing, payment terms, service requirements and performance expectations.
● Review existing agreements and coordinate contract renewals, extensions and updates to ensure contractual information remains accurate and current.
● Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, service providers, customers and other stakeholders to support contract performance, minimise contractual risk and maximise value.
● Liaise with relevant internal teams, including operations, finance, sales and management, to ensure contractual obligations and commercial requirements are understood and appropriately implemented.
● Monitor performance against agreed contractual requirements and identify non-compliance, service deficiencies or departures from agreed terms, escalating matters where appropriate.
● Prepare and maintain contract-related reports, correspondence, summaries and recommendations to support management review and decision-making.
● Assist in maintaining contract administration procedures, templates and records in accordance with applicable legislative, regulatory and organisational requirements.
● Keep informed of relevant legislative or regulatory developments affecting contractual arrangements and coordinate with management or professional advisers where required.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications
● At least a Diploma or higher in Business, Commerce, Management, Contract Management or a related discipline.
Experience
● A minimum of one year of full-time experience, or equivalent part-time or casual experience, in contract administration, commercial administration or a closely related field.
● Demonstrated experience in preparing, reviewing, administering and maintaining commercial contracts.
● Strong understanding of contractual terms, obligations, variations, renewals and contract lifecycle management.
● Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG, wholesale, distribution or a related commercial environment will be highly regarded.
Skills
● Sound commercial judgement with the ability to identify contractual risks and recommend practical solutions.
● Strong negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
