An opportunity is available for an experienced Contracts Specialist to join an established resources organisation, supporting mining projects and managing a portfolio of complex commercial contracts.

This role requires a commercially astute contracts qualified with mining project experience who can independently manage contracts, procurement activities and commercial matters in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

- Manage contracts through the full lifecycle, from tender and negotiation through to administration, variations and close-out.
- Lead procurement and tender processes, including commercial evaluations and negotiations.
- Provide commercial and contractual advice to project and operational stakeholders.
- Manage contractor performance, variations, claims, disputes and contractual risk.
- Support project teams with commercial decision-making and contract governance.
- Identify opportunities to improve commercial outcomes, supplier performance and procurement processes.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

- 6+ years' contracts, commercial or procurement experience, with mining project experience.
- Proven experience managing complex and/or high-value contracts in the mining or resources sector.
- Strong end-to-end contract management and procurement experience.
- Experience working directly with project teams, contractors and operational stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.




- Ability to independently manage contractual issues, risk, claims and variations.
- Tertiary qualification in Law, Procurement, Business, Commerce or related discipline desirable.
