We are currently seeking an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join our Engineering team. Reporting to the Senior Principal Control Systems Engineer, this role is an integral part of the EPC business and is responsible for delivering control system design, programming, commissioning and technical support across a diverse portfolio of energy infrastructure projects. This role offers the chance to work on complex power generation and industrial projects while contributing to the development and delivery of innovative control system solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

What You'll Be Doing

- · Lead and coordinate control systems engineering activities across multiple EPC projects.

- · Design, develop and implement PLC, SCADA and network solutions for power generation and industrial applications.

- · Prepare control system specifications, technical documentation, functional descriptions and design deliverables.

- · Support tender development, engineering estimates and technical evaluations.

- · Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors.

- · Coordinate procurement activities for control systems equipment and materials.

- · Perform FAT, SAT,



commissioning and troubleshooting activities.

- · Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve standardisation, efficiency and engineering performance.

What You'll Bring

- · Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Systems / Mechatronics / Electrical / Electronics) or a related engineering discipline.

- · Experience programming PLC platforms including Schneider, Allen-Bradley, Siemens and ComAp controllers.

- · Experience configuring and supporting SCADA systems including GeoSCADA, Citect SCADA and Ignition SCADA.

- · Strong understanding of industrial communications including Ethernet I/P, DNP3, IEC61850, Profibus, OPC and Modbus.

- · Experience designing and maintaining industrial networks, historians, alarm management and reporting systems.

- · Ability to prepare Functional Descriptions, FAT and SAT documentation.

- · Understanding of LV and HV power systems, generation and protection systems.

- · Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.

- · Current Australian Driver’s License.
