We’re Hiring – Cook / Chef

Yarralumla Play Station | Weston Park, Canberra

We’re looking for a reliable cook or chef to join our team, preparing a simple café menu and baking fresh scones, muffins and cakes.

Hours

- Monday to Friday: approximately 4 hours per day
- Weekends: approximately 6 hours per day

We’re happy to hear from applicants interested in covering some or all of these days.

The role includes

- Preparing and cooking our easy café menu
- Baking scones, muffins and cakes
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and following food safety procedures
- Working with our team to keep service running smoothly
- Helping with stock control and ordering—experience in this would be welcome

We’re looking for someone who

- Has cooking experience and enjoys baking
- Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
- Communicates clearly and works well as part of a team
