Cook or Chef wanted to join our dynamic and energetic team at our Butcher store in Lambton NSW.

Who we are:

The Craft Butcher is a high-class Artisan Style Butcher shop, where customers come to experience the best quality products and advice, as well as exceptional service.

What to expect:

You will be working along side and taking over for our resident cook to create our range of house-made meals. This position will be both a supervised and un-supervised roll. You will also be serving customers, as well as keeping the freezer stocked with the meals you've created.

Your Duties:

A few things you will be doing as our cook:

- Learning how to cook our range of in-house meals and products.
- Learning about presentation, hygiene and food safety.
- Keeping a clean an tidy work space.
- Interacting with customers and learning how to use our point of sales.
- Keeping track of stock, and rotation and labeling of cooked products.

What we expect: We want someone who is personable, well presented and interested in learning. A passion for all aspects of cooking, meat and food. Our ideal candidate will not be afraid of hard work.

our Staff are our number one priority. As a small business, we are able to get to know our staff on a very personal level, and we want to help them reach their personal and professional goals to the very best of our ability.

Our store is open 6 days, but we ensure our employees only work 5 days each. A standard work week will consist of 38 hours, with overtime to be offered as required.

We will pay above award wages (to be discussed with the right applicant). We offer a 50% staff discount on all the products we sell at our store, and we are adaptable with annual and personal leave requests.
