About the role

DeskPlex is a premium coworking space in Hawthorn offering breakfast and lunch to our members each weekday. We are looking for a reliable, hands-on team member who is confident working in the kitchen and ALSO has experience or is comfortable with skilled office cleaning.

Kitchen responsibilities include:

- Preparing and cooking simple breakfast and lunch items

- Basic food preparation, portioning and presentation

- Setting up and maintaining the kitchen throughout service

- Washing dishes and cleaning down after food preparation

- Restocking ingredients and kitchen supplies

- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and cleanliness standards

Office cleaning responsibilities include:

- Cleaning private offices, meeting rooms and communal areas

- Vacuuming and mopping floors

- Cleaning and restocking bathrooms

- Cleaning shared kitchens and breakout areas

- Emptying bins and replacing liners

- Dusting and wiping down surfaces

- Laundry and restocking amenities





- Ensuring the office is left exceptionally clean and well presented

- Closing and securing the workplace at the end of the evening shift

About you

- Has previous cooking, kitchen or food preparation experience

- Is confident undertaking professional office cleaning

- Has very high standards of cleanliness and presentation

- Is reliable, punctual and organised

- Is proactive and notices what needs to be done

- Is comfortable working independently

- Has strong spoken English

- Is currently based in Melbourne and available for a face-to-face interview
