The Coffee Emporium standard is superior coffee served in a fun, friendly and modern environment by well-trained passionate Team Members.

Our Team Members must ensure that all guests are treated to our superior guest experience service standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following although other duties may be assigned.

- All meal preparation
- Adhering to food safety procedures at all times.
- Keep a log of all wastage
- Stock take of all area’s in the kitchen/food prep area
- Ordering/Receiving stock
- General cleaning & kitchen hand duties
- 5-star food service
- Providing an excellent customer experience when interacting with customers at tables and via POS terminal.

On instruction from the Manager/Franchise Partner and during quiet times all Team Members will:
- Transparent and clean work areas
- Clear and clean tables
- Dust shelves and merchandise
- Restock shelves
- Attend other duties as assigned by Coffee House Manager

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Guest Experience: Manages difficult guest situations; responds promptly to guest needs; solicits guest feedback to improve service; responds promptly to requests for service and assistance and meets commitments.

Safety and Security: Observes WHS and security policies and procedures; takes reasonable care to act in a safe manner; determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; reports all hazards and accidents to Coffee House Manager; uses equipment and materials properly and actively participates in promoting Coffee House safety

Attendance/Punctuality: Is reliable. Consistently arrives at work, meetings and appointments on time and notifies Coffee House Manager of intended absences in a timely manner.

Dependability: Follows instructions; responds to management direction; takes responsibility for own actions and keeps commitments.

Initiative: Volunteers readily; undertakes self-development activities; seeks increased responsibilities; looks for and takes advantage of opportunities and asks for and offers help when needed.

Pay: $20.00 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5.0 – 35.0 per week
