Cook – Riverside Hotel (South Brisbane)

Riverside Hotel is seeking a reliable and experienced Cook to join our kitchen team. This role is suited to someone who enjoys working in a busy hospitality environment and takes pride in preparing quality meals for guests.

About the Role:

The Cook will assist with the preparation and service of breakfast, lunch, and dinner across our hotel operations. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure food is prepared safely, consistently, and to a high standard.

This is a casual position offering approximately 25–30 hours per week, with shifts available across a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch according to menu standards
- Complete food preparation and kitchen duties as required
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures
- Assist with stock control, storage, and kitchen organisation




- Keep work areas clean, safe, and well maintained
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and wider hotel team

What We’re Looking For:

- Previous experience as a Cook in a restaurant, hotel, café, or similar hospitality environment
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen setting
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Good organisation and attention to detail
- Reliable and flexible approach to working hours
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
