We're building the kitchen team for The Northern in Newport and looking for chefs, cooks and kitchen hands who care about valuable food and enjoy a busy service. Our menu brings together pub favourites and nightly specials.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook consistently good food
- Work confidently through a busy dinner service
- Keep their section organised and maintain food safety standards
- Communicate well and pitch in across a small team
- Help keep service moving with dishwashing, cleaning, basic prep and keeping the kitchen stocked and tidy
About you
- Experience in a commercial kitchen
- Experience with grill, pans or pub service would be welcome
- Evening and weekend availability is essential
- Good attitude, reliability and willingness to learn
