Good Cremations is part of an independent, Australian family-owned funeral group. We offer simple, respectful cremation services and help families through every step with care and clarity.

You'll be based at one of our partner funeral home offices in Sydney or Newcastle, whichever is most convenient for you.

About the job

This is a rewarding role supporting families in their time of need, mostly by phone and email. You'll guide families through arrangements, prepare paperwork and keep each case moving through our digital systems.

We offer full training, a good salary package and ongoing development and exposure to new roles and opportunities as you progress.

No funeral industry experience is needed. We're looking for someone who cares about doing things well for every family.

We're flexible on hours.



This role can be full-time, a 4-day week, or part-time across 5 days.

About you

- Strong computer skills. You pick up new software quickly and enjoy working in digital systems.

- Clear, skilled writing, because most of the work happens over email.

- Careful attention to detail.

- Calm, empathetic communication with families from a wide range of cultures, religions and situations.

- Comfortable discussing death and supporting people through grief.

- Willing to learn and to work as part of a team.

Where you'll work

This is an office-based role at a partner funeral home office in Sydney or Newcastle, depending on where you live.

Optional after-hours work is also available, paid on top of your salary.
