We are looking for an experienced Customer Marketing Contractor to build and run our customer storytelling program across Asia-Pacific, covering Australia and New Zealand, Southeast Asia, India, Japan and Korea. You will own a program of more than 100 customer stories a year and move each one from first idea to publication, usually with about 15 stories in progress at the same time.

You will work closely with customers, sales teams and internal stakeholders to capture real success stories across industries and use cases. You will interview customers, write the stories in English, and manage the approvals, which move at different speeds in each market. In Japan and Korea, local account teams run the interviews and approvals in the local language, and you draft and manage each story from their notes. You will report to our International Customer Marketing team in London.

Requirements

Six years of experience in customer marketing, content marketing or a similar role in B2B technology or SaaS is preferred. Four years is the minimum. Customer marketing in consumer goods is not the same thing.

Experience running customer stories from first identification to publication and keeping many of them moving at once.





Excellent writing. Your drafts should need little editing from the rest of the team. Comfortable using AI tools to draft, and hands-on editing every story to a high standard.

Strong project management and attention to detail, with experience using project management tools and CRM systems.

Experience working directly with customers to gather information and secure approvals.

Experience handling approvals with customers, partners and internal teams.

Able to work independently while collaborating with a manager and teams in other time zones.

Fluent English, written and spoken.

Nice to haves

Qualified working Japanese or Korean, or both.

Experience working across APAC markets and understanding of their business norms.

Customer marketing experience at a well-known technology company.

Background in AI, machine learning or other emerging technology.

Familiarity with legal review of customer content.

Experience with content management systems and marketing automation tools.

Previous contractor or consulting experience in a similar role
