Hertz Port Hedland is looking for a Trainee Customer Service Officer to join our team.

It's a hands on role with plenty of variety. You'll spend part of your day helping customers with bookings and vehicle collections and returns but you'll also be helping with vehicles and general branch operations.

We're looking for someone who is friendly, reliable and happy to get involved wherever needed.

What you'll be doing

- Helping customers with vehicle pick-ups and returns
- Processing bookings, payments and rental agreements
- Answering customer enquiries in person, by phone and email
- General administration
- Checking vehicles and reporting any damage or issues
- Moving and refuelling vehicles when required
- Working with the detailing and workshop team to make sure vehicles are ready to go
- Helping out with general branch and fleet operations

What we're looking for

You don't need previous car rental experience. We'll provide training for the right person.

What is important is that you:

- Enjoy dealing with people




- Are reliable and turn up when you're rostered
- Are comfortable using computers
- Can work independently as well as part of a small team
- Have a current driver's licence
- Are confident driving different types of vehicles
- Are willing to pitch in and help when things get busy
- Have Australian working rights

The role

You'll receive training in Hertz systems and rental operations and get experience across customer service, administration and fleet operations.

We're also happy to hear from school leavers or people looking to get started in customer service. Experience isn't everything – if you've got a good attitude, you're reliable and willing to learn, we'd like to hear from you.
