Cybersecurity & ICT Governance Specialists -Multiple Opportunities | Remote - QLD | initial 12-Month Contract Your recent company

Hays haspartnered with a Security Consultancy supporting a QLD Regional Council toidentify experienced cybersecurity and ICT governance professionals to supportthe delivery of a broad cyber maturity, governance uplift and securityassurance program.

This engagementwill see successful consultants contribute to cybersecurity assessments,governance improvement initiatives, incident response activities, securityassurance reviews and executive-level cyber advisory services within a complexlocal government environment.

The work isexpected to be delivered primarily remotely, with occasional site attendanceonly where required.

Your new role

We are seekingexpressions of interest from professionals across several cybersecuritydisciplines including:

- CyberSecurity Analyst

- CyberSecurity Engineer

- CyberSecurity Manager

- PenetrationTester

- Governance,Risk & Compliance (GRC) Consultant

Successfulconsultants may be involved in:

- Cybersecurityassessments and assurance activities

- Securitycontrol reviews and effectiveness assessments

- EssentialEight maturity assessments and uplift programs

- ICTgovernance framework development and improvement

- Cybersecurityrisk management initiatives

- Securitymonitoring oversight and reporting

- Cyberincident investigation and response support

- Policy,procedure and governance documentation development

- Businesscontinuity and resilience activities

- Executiveand stakeholder reporting

- Collaborationwith internal ICT teams, managed service providers and third-party vendors





What you'll need to succeed

Depending on yourarea of expertise, you may bring experience in:

- Cybersecurityoperations, engineering or architecture

- Penetrationtesting and vulnerability assessments

- ICTgovernance and assurance frameworks

- Cybersecurityrisk management

- EssentialEight implementation or assessment activities

- Securitycompliance and regulatory environments

- Incidentresponse and cyber resilience programs

- Executivestakeholder engagement and reporting

- Deliveryof cybersecurity services within government, critical infrastructure or highlyregulated environments

Relevant industrycertifications will be highly regarded, including:

- CISSP

- CISM

- CRISC

- CCSP

- ISO27001 Lead Auditor / Implementer

- SABSA

- CEH

- OSCP

- AzureSecurity Certifications

- MicrosoftSecurity Certifications
