About Vat Clean

Vat Clean is a commercial deep fryer cleaning and cooking oil management company. We look after restaurants, pubs, schools, aged care facilities, hospitals and other commercial kitchens across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast.

The role

This is a hands-on night shift job. You’ll travel between customer kitchens and get their fryers clean and ready before they open. Day to day, you’ll:

- Drain used cooking oil from commercial deep fryers
- Deep clean fryers and the equipment around them
- Filter or remove used oil where needed
- Refill fryers with fresh oil
- Collect and transport used cooking oil
- Deliver fresh cooking oil to customers
- Talk with chefs and kitchen staff, and treat their kitchen with respect
- Record each job in our app
- Keep your van and equipment clean and organised
- Complete every job safely and professionally

Hours Work runs overnight, between 10pm and 10am. Start times are 10pm, 12am, 3am or 6am, depending on the schedule. You’ll start and finish at our depot in Eagle Farm (4009).

What we’re looking for

- A current driver’s licence (automatic vans)




- Someone reliable who shows up when rostered. This matters more than anything.
- A positive attitude. We’re a small team and we back each other up.

- Respectful and easy to deal with around chefs and kitchen staff
- Comfortable using a phone app. Basic tech skills are enough.
- Willingness to drive between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast when needed
- Comfort with physical work and some heavy lifting
- The right to work in Australia

No experience is needed, because we’ll train you on the job. Commercial kitchen or cleaning experience is a bonus.
