Enjoy cooking and serving customers? Napoli Mercato is looking for a reliable, friendly team member with some cooking experience to join our deli and kitchen.

This hands-on role is split equally between preparing and presenting food for our bain-marie and serving customers at the deli counter.

About the role

- Cook and prepare food for the bain-marie.
- Set up, replenish and maintain an appealing food display.
- Serve customers at the deli counter.
- Slice cold meats and prepare customer orders.
- Maintain clean work areas and follow food safety procedures.
- Work with the team to keep the kitchen and deli running smoothly.

About you

- Some cooking experience in a kitchen, deli, café or similar environment.
- A friendly manner and a focus on customer service.
- Comfortable moving between food preparation and deli service.
- Reliable, organised and able to work in a busy setting.
- Deli experience and familiarity with meat slicers are highly regarded.
- Available for early starts and weekend work.

Hours Full time position, five days per week, including one weekend day, with 5:30 am starts.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
