Artlab Dental is a modern, growing dental practice located in Silverdale Shopping Centre, NSW. We are looking for a caring, reliable and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team.

Our practice provides a broad range of treatment including general and restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, crown and bridge, veneers, implant dentistry, surgical procedures, orthodontics and clear aligner treatment.

About the role

As a Dental Assistant at Artlab Dental, you will work closely with our dentists to provide high-quality clinical care while helping the practice run smoothly and efficiently.

Your duties will include

- Chairside assisting for general, restorative, cosmetic, surgical, implant and orthodontic procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms, instruments and materials
- Cleaning, decontamination and sterilisation of instruments
- Following infection prevention and control protocols
- Assisting with digital imaging and X-rays where appropriately trained
- Providing patients with pre-operative and post-operative instructions
- Maintaining stock levels and assisting with ordering of dental supplies
- Supporting accurate patient records and clinical documentation
- Assisting with reception and patient flow when required
- Helping maintain a clean, organised and professional clinical environment

Previous experience with dental practice management software is helpful but not essential.



Training will be provided on our systems and workflows.

Previous dental assisting experience is preferred, particularly in general dentistry, surgical procedures, implants, cosmetic dentistry or orthodontics. However, experience is not everything. We are also happy to consider someone with less experience who has the right attitude, is reliable, learns quickly and is genuinely interested in developing a career in dental assisting. Training and support can be provided for the right person.

Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting will be highly regarded but is not essential.

Hours and pay We are flexible with working arrangements and are happy to discuss what works for the right candidate.

The position can suit someone looking for approximately 1–4 days per week, with the opportunity for additional hours as the practice grows.

Casual or part-time arrangements can be considered.

Pay will be based on experience, qualifications and suitability for the role.
