About Affordable Dental Philip

Affordable Dental Philip is seeking a friendly, motivated and reliable Dental Assistant to join our team in Phillip, ACT. We are looking for someone who is passionate about patient care, has a positive attitude and enjoys working in a professional and supportive dental environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with our dental practitioners to provide high-quality patient care and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist dentists during dental procedures and treatments.
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments are ready for use.
- Clean, sterilise and maintain dental instruments in accordance with infection control guidelines.
- Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable throughout their visit.
- Assist with patient records, appointments and general administrative duties.
- Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked clinical environment.




- Work collaboratively with the dental team to ensure productive clinic operations.

About You
- Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.
- Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- A caring, professional and patient-focused approach.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
