About the role

You'll work closely with our dentists and clinical team to provide excellent patient care and keep the day running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

- Chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry
- Setting up and preparing surgeries for procedures
- Cleaning and turning over rooms between patients
- Infection control and sterilisation
- Taking digital X-rays, clinical photographs and scans where trained
- Preparing instruments and materials for procedures
- Restocking surgeries and monitoring clinical supplies
- Supporting smooth patient flow throughout the day
- Working collaboratively with dentists, other dental assistants and reception
- Helping create a warm, professional experience for every patient

About you

- At least 1 year of experience as a dental assistant, preferably in a busy general dental Practice.
- Friendly, positive and skilled
- Reliable and committed to their rostered shifts
- Calm and organized in a busy environment




- A genuine team player who is happy to help others
- Proactive and comfortable taking initiative
- Focused on high standards of infection control and patient care
- A clear and respectful communicator
- Dental assisting experience is preferred, particularly in a busy general dental practice
- Experience with Core Practice, digital X-rays, OPG/CBCT, intraoral scanning and CEREC milling would be highly regarded, but training can be provided for the right person
