We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our specialist periodontal practice on a part-time basis (1–2 days per week). This is an exciting prospect to work alongside a dedicated periodontist and contribute to providing exceptional care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene services, including scaling and root debridement, for patients on periodontal maintenance (SPT) and review appointments.

- Provide tailored oral hygiene education and preventative care strategies to patients.

- Collaborate closely with the periodontist to deliver high-quality care plans and ongoing periodontal management.

- Maintain accurate and thorough clinical records in accordance with practice protocols and professional standards.

- Ensure all infection control protocols are strictly followed.

- Offer a welcoming and empathetic patient experience to foster trust and compliance.

Requirements:

- Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Dental Hygiene or Oral Health Therapy.

- Registration:



Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Dental Hygienist or Oral Health Therapist.

- Experience: Prior experience in periodontal care or working under a periodontist is highly desirable.

- Skills:

- Excellent manual dexterity and clinical skills in periodontal procedures.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to educate and motivate patients.

- A team player with a patient-centered approach to care.
