We’re seeking a technically minded and solutions-focused Technical Packaging Design Specialist to join our team in Knoxfield. In this hands-on role, you’ll take products from concept through design, development, testing and validation to production, delivering creative and high-quality solutions that meet customer requirements.

What you’ll do

- Develop 3D CAD models, technical drawings and product designs using SolidWorks or similar software.

- Manage design projects from concept to production, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.

- Support manufacturing, product testing, validation and technical reporting.

- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with relevant standards.

- Collaborate with customers, suppliers and internal Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality teams.

- Drive product design, testing and process improvements.

What you’ll bring

- A qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design,



Engineering Technology or a relevant technical trade background.

- At least three years’ experience in engineering design, product development, testing or a related technical field.

- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.

- Understanding of manufacturing processes, including metal forming and machining.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and documentation skills.

Highly regarded: Experience with injection or rotational moulding, product testing, and standards such as DEF (AUST) 1000C or equivalent.
